This is a great large Northwest Coast eagle pin with inlaid abalone shell eye by Kwakiutl Artist, Patty Fawn. The pin is roughly 4" x 1 ½" and made from antler. It is signed on the back "Patty Fawn '72". 

Patty Fawn is a versatile artist that specializing in Northwest Coast  jewelry, as well as small sculptures. She works with silver, fossilized ivory, shell, gold, bone, and antler. She the sister of the well-known Northwest carver Lelooska and daughter of Shona-Hah. Originally from Oklahoma Cherokee heritage, her family was adopted by the Kwakiutl tribe in the 1960s after moving to the Northwest coast.
