Inuit Ivory Polar Bears with Freshly Caught Seal

This is an impressive piece of art. The composition is compelling with the mother bear standing over a smaller cub while dangling a seal in her mouth by its rear flippers. The carving is excellent. Both bears are mounted on a oval ivory base. This will make a very interesting addition to a collection of Inuit ivory carvings. It is an ANAC tag certifying that it is Inuit carved walrus ivory.
