Small Plateau Beaded Container

$ 350.00

This is a unique small object. I have not seen another example like it. It was collected in the Pendleton area and most likely is either Cayuse or Umatilla work. It is beaded on native tanned hide and has a hide bottom. It has a black cloth rim around the opening which has beading above it. I don't know what its intended function was but I don't think it was just for decoration.
